The New England Regional Center is managed by a team of professionals that cover the specialties necessary to make the Regional Center an effective and productive organization. The Regional Center’s duties will be to manage and administer project development, finance, marketing, legal and accounting functions that are associated with the operation of a successful USCIS approved Regional Center.
Mr. Vartanian has 19 years of experience as a practitioner in immigration law. Mr. Vartanian is currently the Managing Partner of Vartanian & Vartanian, LLP, a full-service immigration practice. There he has concentrated in various employment based immigration issues as well as all other areas of immigration law and real estate related matters. For the last 8 years he has been a managing partner at Viva Properties, LLC., a real estate brokerage firm involved in the sale and marketing of commercial and residential property in Massachusetts. Mr. Vartanian has been a member of the American Immigration Lawyers Association for the past 19 years, and is a member of the Council of Armenian Executives.
Stephen Maire has more than 30 years of business experience in entrepreneurial enterprises. He currently serves as Director to Goetz Asia Limited, a Hong Kong based trading company that he and a partner have grown from a $10 million business to an $80 million dollar business. In addition, he has established and operated companies in as diverse locations as the United States, Hong Kong and Thailand. Mr. Maire has considerable experience working in Asia and speaks Mandarin. Mr. Maire has an M.B.A. from Harvard Business School and a B.A. cum laude from Middlebury College
Humin Ji, also known as Peter Gee, grew up in Beijing, China and graduated from Shanghai Fudan University. He moved to Massachusetts twenty-five (25) years ago and actively maintains extensive business contacts in China. Mr. Ji is also the Founder and Chairman of the Board of the Cambridge Center for Chinese Culture, the largest community center for immigrants from mainland China in Massachusetts. Mr. Ji has been a successful real estate broker for more than twenty (20) years. Mr. Ji is also President of JK International, LLC, an immigration investment consulting firm with strong business contacts in Massachusetts and in China.
Deb Kuhn has more than twenty (20) years of experience in commercial real estate. She served as Manager of Harvard University’s strategic real estate acquisitions team, Associate Dean for planning and real estate at Harvard Medical School, and Chief Financial Officer of Harvard Real Estate. Mrs. Kuhn has closed more than Five Hundred Million U.S. Dollars ($500,000,000USD) in real estate purchases, sales, and leases, including complex transactions involving multi-party negotiations. Mrs. Kuhn has an M.P.A. from the Harvard Kennedy School of Government and a B.A. from Smith College.
